Transformable Furniture

Embedery

Designed for LAGO during the “Metaprogetto” course, Embedery is a transformable multi-purpose furniture concept targeting compact living and the changing habits of younger users.

Starting as a coffee table, it can rotate and unfold into a pouf, chaise longue or emergency bed — a flexible object conceived for small interiors and inspired by the hidden utility of old wooden boxes once used to store embroidery tools.

Concept
A compact piece designed around adaptability: one object, multiple domestic scenarios. The mechanism allows the furniture to shift function according to need, making it especially relevant for limited spaces, temporary hosting and changing living arrangements.
